Professionally, I have a tremendous ability to help single individuals, small businesses, or larger companies reach out to their target audiences. Through the use of effective web content writing structured to appeal to search engine technology, events designed to target specific demographic audiences, and effective strategic planning of special event activities and cross-promotion, my work tends to allow Internet domination of specific key word combinations [known to the IT industry as Search Engine Optimization or, more simple, by the acronym "SEO".
My personal specialty as an IT Marketing and Special Events Consultant is bringing Internet connections to life--creating face to face interactions with online leads, introducing them personally to the staff from the various organizations I represent, and helping to convert them into loyal customers while successfully expanding each company's networking and referral base.
Historically, I have a strong background in writing, teaching, special education, and mentoring. In addition, my expertise as a small business adviser and classroom manager has led me to the field of special event promotion and management--helping smaller companies and corporations utilize Guerrilla Marketing techniques to bring increased traffic flow and sales improvement to their corporations.

As an employee or independent contractor, I work well from home (having been a reliable telecommuter for more than 10 years). My phone communications skills are excellent; however, email follow up and conformations are my preferred method of interacting with clients. In addition, I am very comfortable in face to face settings, and clients and co-workers who prefer to excel find me an excellent team member or leader in any professional sphere.
I am comfortable working daily online with the world. If you would like to connect with me in person this year, the Charm City Network is the place to catch me around.
Based in Baltimore, Maryland, I am seeking positions with local Mid-Atlantic or Southeastern regional businesses who can utilize my services effectively. Typically, I am involved in professional telecommute conferences throughout the afternoon and evening hours, working on writing and blogging projects late into the Eastern Standard Time night. As a reliable consultant and contract worker, my clients are consistently pleased they are able to assign a task at the end of a day or week and by the morning or weekend conclusion, the work is done. If you own a Maryland company and are interested in expanding your marketing horizons to include the Internet sphere, now is the ideal time to sit down, talk, or have lunch.
During my short time here in Maryland (full time since May 2008) I have made great connections and have established excellent local personal references. Outside of the area, I'm fortunate enough to have a long list of clients, who are happy to give me personal and professional references as well.
No matter where your reside in the world, I am available to help. If you are looking for an efficient set of virtual assistant hands to back you up or take the lead with any marketing for your targeted client base, I would be interested in hearing more about what you are doing. When you need a quick ghost writer or editor, I'm there. Need a blogger to stay on the task of establishing a routine advertising schedule? I'm the one who creates the written material and gets the technical legwork of the posting Internet tracks and footprints done.

Learning to balance old-fashioned business ethics with high tech marketing management is a tight rope walk only a few individuals can comfortably make. Fortunately, I'm comfortable in both worlds. As such, I can be an asset helping gracefully balance your established business' transition into the digital age or conversely am readily able to help establish a new sole proprietorship, partnership, LLC, or corporation involved with commerce gain a foothold of recognition in the Internet community.
Hiring me is easy. All it takes is an email to set up an appointment for a free introductory and orientation consulting call.
Here are some simple FAQ answers about my services and job contract considerations:
- My typical schedule for writing projects is between 20 and 80 hours per week; events management projects usually begin with as little as 12 hours per week of commitment rising to 100 hours per week during the week prior to the event and immediately following.
- With a strong drive for success and excellent work ethic, I am confident that I can rise to meet any task or time commitment challenge I accept. Believing in a motto that says, "Under Promise and Over Deliver", if I am not comfortable thinking I can realistically complete a project goal in time, I will not accept the contract for position.
- Telecommute work is a very efficient method of connecting. With a home "virtual assistant" and office base set up, I prefer to work by phone and online for half or full day marketing, project management, and on salary for ongoing consulting contracts. As such, I set all billing and salary wage reimbursements according to (4-6 hours), (8-10 hours), and/or by full days each week following through with meetings, appointments, and contracts.
- Timing is everything. I respond to a flexible appointment schedule where additional hours during certain days or weeks (or travel) is required of me [with advanced notice of dates]. As such, I can make myself available for national or international projects with adequate notice for event staffing and/or advance compensation for travel.
- Work and community service projects blend harmoniously for me. I am currently committed to several exotic car club community charity benefit projects for the 2009/2010 years, but I balance my personal schedule well and respond to other outside professional project completion deadlines as necessary.
